The mission of the Challenge After School Program is to provide a safe, fun, educational atmosphere for our students until 6:00 pm daily. Students participate in academic enrichment activities that strengthen their academic skills and knowledge. Snacks are provided and there is time for students to work on homework. Students also participate in enrichment activities (for example Art) and games and sport activities. The staff knows each student, and is committed to helping them succeed in school and grow in character.

The program is made available through an ASES Grant, and therefore is available without cost (free) to all HLA students. (Regular attendance is required, behavioral requirements apply.)

We do have lot's of after school learning projects.
